About Us
The Learning Tree Academy opened in February of 2019. It is a licensed childcare center in the south end of Guelph, located minutes from the 401. Our programs are modelled in association with the Early Learning for Every Child Today, How Does Learning Happen and Highscope (ELECT), pedagogy from the Ministry of Education and the High Scope method of curriculum.
All of our classrooms have a Registered Early Childhood Educator who is supported by a combination of Early childhood Assistants, and/or ECE Apprentices.
ACADEMY VISION
Our vision for Learning Tree Academy is to be a leader of quality within the childcare field in Guelph. We aim to ensure the best quality education and programs for every child enrolled in our programs. We see the children as competent and capable learners who have the potential to direct their own learning. They will be guided by the teaching staffs who are co-learners alongside the children. Learning Tree Academy’s vision is to prepare children from a young age to have a passion for learning and exploration. Through this philosophy, we strive to provide the best for our children.
